The first day of school can be both fun and exciting, as well as scary and nerve-wracking. This happens not only with the preschoolers, but the parents too. What better way to get the kids started, then to have some fun activities for them to do on their first day!

Have the parents and preschoolers show off their talents as they draw pictures of each other. Wall Mural. Take some butcher paper and have the kids create designs on this paper that will be hung on the wall. Name tags. Either for each child, their desks, or both. Have the kids make their own name tags to be one or shown off on their desks so they can learn who each other is.
