Unlocking New Floors and Growing Prestige. As we all do our second run of flooring with our previous advancement of 4, we are going to be getting XP as we proceed. Most likely, we'll have enough XP to unlock floor 5. As soon as we do, our present progress will end up 5, which can be higher than our previous progress. So, the game will now use a prestige figure of 5, maybe 4. The same will apply to some other flooring we're able to OSRS gold unlock: the prior prestige figure is simply used for floors with amounts below ones that you unlock.

This is what I recommend in most cases.

However, it is not essential to perform all floors linearly--all that matters is that they are not repeated.
