I practiced extensively against the computer and wanted to make sure that I was able to win pretty nearly all the time when I had the Competitive setting activated. A lot of Ultimate Team challenges plump up for Mut 22 coins the Arcade setting. While I'd try them with the hardest difficulty possible, I didn't find it beneficial to practice as quarterbacks and receivers are godlike as they are online. far more realistic, it's not enough to throw 60 yards into double coverage and hope to hit the ball.
Solo Battles became my favourite mode, as it allowed me to play games against my computer with increasing difficulties with Competitive settings. After a couple of weeks, I'd reached a stage where I could easily beat an player on Pro and win at All-Pro but I do struggle on All-Madden. Online play is definitely more challenging if you're against a real person and people are more prone to errors and impatience which computers do not have.
This is how I earned my first win this week, a win of 18-14 against a player whom I'd say was similar to my own - possibly a bit better. As alluded to above however, they were lacking the patience to play: they wouldn't ever punt the ball in any situation, even on fourth-and-long. Furthermore, they made some strange calls. In all honesty I was certain that I'd lose when they were successful with an onside kick off from the initial kick-off. I later conceded the goal, but I stuck with it.
I was able to pick up one touchdown and cheap Madden 22 coins a two-point conversion in my very first drive after which I scored another field goal towards the end of the half making it a 11-6 lead at halftime. I opened the second half with another touchdown, and then I remained focused on not allowing any major play. Although I gave up scores of touchdowns and a 2 point conversion in the second half, I was able eat enough time to finish the game through, being aware that my opponent would require an end-of-game touchdown in their final drive.
