It is okay, you ask what is okay. It is okay if you become frustrated at planning your wedding. There will be days the headache extends to hours with little or no effect in taking an analgesic. You may think it is the brand or that the pharmaceutical company has changed its formula, but no, planning a wedding is both stressing and frustrating. It is okay to take a break but not for a lengthy time. You can use time line in planning or hire a Wedding Planner.

A few tips to assist in eradicating or decreasing your frustration.

1. Budget- Be true to your dreams- if you really believe in your dream wedding make it a reality. Yes dream and believe. Yes girl you will be the Queen for the day so rule it!!

2. Subdivide - Now you've created a budget, divide the monies into categories. Bride's dress, accessories, cake, (wedding and groom), venue (rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception), menu, DJ, decorations, flowers, wedding favorites. This is a jump start as you reflect on your dream. The list will grow- know when to awake from your dream. Choose your vendors wisely remember a bargain can be a bargain or disaster, one you cannot correct on the day of the wedding.

3. The search -Yes the search for vendors, and venues, where to go, who is really better, what do I want to be serve the headache comes and goes throbbing lightly and sometimes pounding and now your employer has requested no demanded more. What can you do? Where are the hours? I know who established the twenty four hour day why not 28 or 30 hours? because we would want more, so it is what it is 24 hours a day. It is okay to take a small break a day or two.

4. Time line -a time line must be established with each subdivision. You must set a day when you will make a decision on each of your categories.

5. Confirm -confirm with vendors, venues by a signed contract. If it is your friend or a family member it is your choice, but you MUST get a contract. Follow up with each on scheduled intervals- do not wait the eve prior to your rehearsal to confirm.

6. It is about you -Being a Wedding Personality Specialist and expert Outdoor Wedding Specialist, I recommend the week prior to the wedding be about you. Pamper yourself, get a massage, extra time at the gym, and warm moments with your fiancé. Allow a wedding planner to assist in the last week- most have programs customized to your needs. You do not want to be the bride that says I am too tired to enjoy my wedding. Be the bride that shine, illuminating the room on entrance, dance the night away, enjoying her now husband and all the quests who witnessed your celebration.
