Mothers Day Flowers Los

เขียนโดย dwortumonmea

An Italian chandelier is a fantastic piece of lighting, and I really can't blame you for wanting one. Most of them - if not all of them - are real works of art - especially those that are hand-made in Murano, Italy. If you don't know, this is an island off the coast of Venice, where the master glass-makers have had their production for hundreds of years. If you have ever heard the term venetian glass, this is its place of origin - at least the authentic venetian glass.

Of course a chandelier does not have to be Italian to be great, it is just that there seems to be a certain style to them that results in some very aesthetically pleasing products. They make heavy use of floral patterns and forms, with the arms of the chandelier taking shape of stems adorned with leaves and the lighting fixtures themselves being the petals of the flower. The fact that we are talking about all-glass constructions (almost) makes the floral theme work even better.

Of the many companies outside Venice that make these, Quoizel is one worth mentioning. A Quoizel chandelier will range widely in price - in any of their ranges - and this applies to their "Italian chandeliers" too. They offer everything from the very cheap models, which have only really the basic look in common with the originals - to some very nice models which feature real Murano crystals, and cost $1000 or more. So how do you best use such a wild looking object in your home decor? To me, a Murano has a lot of visual "temper."

They are flamboyant and extrovert in their nature - not exactly discrete or neutral looking. You can use this characteristic in two basic ways: One is to go all out - put it in a room that is already very happening, with strong colors and distinct shapes in use. This is a balance of course, as you do not want the different elements fighting each other, but instead create a synergetic effect and lift the room to a different level. The other way is to use the flamboyance of the chandelier as a contrast. If everything else is either very dark, very pale or just dull, the right color of crystal chandelier can elevate the atmosphere quite a bit. Now you need to figure out which way is for you!
