เสียงนั้นดังขึ้นอีกครั้ง เวโรน่า คริมสันรีบเดินไปเปิดประตูทันที แต่กลับไม่พบกับผู้ใด มีเพียงแค่ความเงียบกับกระดาษแปลกๆเปื้อนหมึกพับครึ่งวางอยู่บนพรมเช็ดเท้า เธอเก็บมันขึ้นมาก่อนจะคลี่อ่าน ตัวอักษรเพียงไม่กี่ตัวทำให้เธอขนลุกซู่ เมื่อในนั้นมีตัวอักษรของใครสักคนเขียนหวัดๆตัวเบิ้อเริ่มเต็มกระดาษ ลายมือเหมือนเพิ่งหัดเขียนจนหมึกสีดำเลอะเทอะไปหมดแต่ก็ยังดูออกว่ามันเขียนว่าอย่างไร

และเมื่อลองพลิกกลับไปอีกด้าน ก็พบลายมือเดียวกันเพียงแต่ดูสะอาดกว่าเดิมมาก
