Once upon a time, there was a young man, named Jack, who lived with
her mother in the old cottage. One day, all the shelf and the kitchen are empty
of bread and meat, they didn’t have anything to eat and to drink, so they
decided to sell a cow to a merchant in market to get some money for their food
and drinks. Mother sent Jack to the market to sell their cow. Few minutes
later, there was the merchant who would like to buy it. But he didn’t have
anything to trade but a porch of beans. Jack pitied him so; he gave him the cow
and brought back the porch of beans to home. When Jack’s mother knew what her
son did. She’s very angry at Jack of his stupid. She threw the beans out of the
window and didn’t let Jack eat the dinner on that day. After that day, when the
mother was going to send Jack to the market to sell another cow again, they saw
a very very enormous beanstalk in front of their house. Jack decided to climb
the beanstalk to see what there was above the sky. As soon as Jack was at the
top of the beanstalk, he saw the very huge palace at the center of the sky. He
ran to it curiously to see what is it and what it hid. “Is there treasure, or
is there King?” he asked himself. Finally he could get inside the palace since
there was no guard outside. He saw gold, silver and diamond was decorated in
the wall of the palace – he wanted to get all of them. When he go inside the
dining room, he saw a goose which lay the golden eggs and he saw the harp which
could sing the beautiful note for the Giant Prince that slept beside the dining
table after he had eaten. Jack knew that he couldn’t bring everything he wanted
to his mother. He could only bring something little and comfortable to carry
away. He decided to pick up the goose and the harp. But bad luck, the goose and
the harp were very panic. They scream as if they were going to be killed. Giant
Prince awaked from the sleep and ran to get his treasure back. Jack was
quicker, so he could get down on earth quicker than the Prince. He told his
mother to chop the beanstalk and his mother did. The beanstalk fell down and
the Prince died. They had the golden eggs for sell and listened to the
beautiful songs every day since that day.
