Roblox is raising to support their fight against COVID-19

Roblox Robux Social game platform Roblox is raising money for three organizations (No Kid Hungry UNICEF USA and Code.org) to support their fight against COVID-19.

The studio has launched a series of limited-edition items some of which have been created by members of the Roblox community in support of UNICEF USA Code.org and No Kid Hungry.

As part of a limited time promotion nine different premium items are now available to purchase in Roblox. These items are split into three groups of three based on the organization they will benefit.

The items will be available to purchase until June 30 or until their collective sales total $1 million with all proceeds going to a charity of the player's choice. For each donation made Roblox will donate an equivalent amount to the charities for a combined total of $1 million. In addition Roblox will donate up to an additional $1 million to match what users have spent amongst the three organizations totaling up to $2 million.

These items will be available to purchase until June 30 or until the combined total for all donations reaches $1 million (whichever comes first).

In addition to these donations the Roblox blog said “Roblox will also donate up to an additional $1,000,000 to match what you have spent amongst the three organizations.”
