Path of Exile is a free to play with Diablo-style action-RPG with seven playable character classes and a great deal of deep gameplay mechanisms. This poe currency guide will describe the fundamental systems and supply plenty of helpful suggestions to get you started on your search to return from exile!
Path of Exile has seven playable characters, although only half are originally unlockable. The seventh, the Scion, could be unlocked by rescuing her from a cage at the Upper Scepter of God area of Act 3.
Picking your first personality is important, but not as big a deal as in additional Diablo-style games. Path of Exile provides an unusually high number of character slots, so it is possible to play and switch between all seven classes if you so choose. Also, the time-limited nature of leagues (which we'll describe below) as well as the odds that you might unwittingly create a flawed character construct the first time you play mean that you'll most likely be creating new characters before too long anyhow.
Adhere to a character construct, but do not sweat it more guide if you're creating your own way.
