The auto pickup mechanic is incredibly intuitive in Maple Story mobile as well, and the addition of bots helps make the game available to newcomers right off the maplestory2 mesos bat. All of this adds up to a single fact: Maple Story mobile only feels like an authentic cellular game, whereas Fortnite does not--at least not yet.
Perhaps Maple Story mobile's greatest weakness is still trying to be too true to the first game. The maps are simply too big and the games too long. Smaller? --it would be the perfect mobile battle royale.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is moving back to a testing stage as The Maple Story Corporation invites fans to try out a smaller, unfinished map codenamed "Savage." This new level is a quarter the size of Erangel or Miramar, which are both present maps that are live on the servers at the moment. To make sure that Savage is equally as excellent as possible when it goes, Maple Story Corp. is asking for your feedback on how it plays.
To get that feedback, the studio is going to go to this page hold a closed testing phase that begins April 2 at 7 p.m. Pacific period and ends April 5 a.m. Pacific.
