Epsom Salt as a bath or soaking solution - for a refreshing bath after strenuous exertion or just a genuinely tough day adding a couple cups to your bath water will provide great relief. The same is true for minor sprains and bruises. If you dissolve about one half cup in a quart of water and apply it wet to your injury with a towel this will also give tremendous relief and start the healing process. When using Epsom Salt externally if you experience redness, irritation, swelling, or infection to your skin you should stop using it and consult a doctor. 3. Epsom Salt as a fertilizer - for bigger, more vigorous plants, lawns, trees, gardens, and flowers you can use Epsom Salt in several different ways: For outdoor plants and shrubbery simply sprinkle 2 tablespoons around the base of each plant. For lawns apply ½- pound per one thousand square feet. For house plants mix one teaspoon per gallon of water and feed to plants every 1 - 4 weeks. Once applied simply water the Epsom Salt into your plants and enjoy a simple solution to your fertilizer needs. These three simple uses for Epsom Salt will help alleviate the problem of trying to find the specific product for your needs. This will also save you time, money, and the frustration of trying to buy three separate products.
