[The Twilight Saga Book 1]


It’s like an age for me to fall for the fantasy novel, since I remember the lasted favorite books are written by Anne Bishop. Nowadays, many novels have shown up on the bestseller shelve, but little of them appeal me.

 

My best friend introduces me to a fancy world, the world with vampire and werewolf. Interestingly, this fancy book involves only little with blood and dead, whereas, the main plot is much more relaying on the romance and contradiction perspective.

 

My first impression on the first book of twilight saga is, with honestly, it’s a boring plot. Ton of fantasy books have play and replay on the undead creature like vampire, nothing new but good to kill boring time. As from the third chapter and on, it proves my first judgment that it’s totally wrong because the ‘twilight’ is further special to call ordinary fantasy novel.

 

I have to admit that I fall for the ‘Twilight’ and can’t wait to continue on its sequel, ‘New Moon’, ‘Eclipse’, and the incoming of the final ‘Breaking Dawn’.

 

Twilight run through Bella’s perspective, actually I would like to say, through the girl’s perspective. How should the story continue? What should a girl think when entering new school? What should be the big concern of the teenager? Of course not the State’s politics or world’s starving, but the new life with the stranger and unfamiliar town, the secret love, the excited experience, and last but not least the romance.

 

Without spoiling the story, I’d rather say the first book is only the introduction of the whole saga. It is indeed, preparing the readers the background of the characters and inveigling the readers to brood upon the lover relationship and the confliction of the race, human and inhuman. Furthermore, it is also shown the difficulty of being around with dangerous creatures, whether vampire or others.

 

The happy ending of the first book is only trumpet for the seqeul somehow vulnerable somber story or even tragedy, who’d know?
