While I was studying some browser scripts today, I came up with a brillant idea.
I thought that I could change the Dek-D's book of the month banner. The code worked prefectly on the test, but when I apply it to the page, it didn't worked.
I tried and tried to find the reason and still can't fix it.
After 3 hours of fruitless attempt, I decided to give up.
I'll study server scripts and web services next. If I known all of these, I can make a site I want by myself (the graphic isn't included).
Even so, I'm still hesitate about what should I do in the future. I'm just sick of Dek-D's template & design, (They're still using <font> and <table> !) but I don't think that I can stand on my own. My readers and friends are still here.
I should try doing both if I have enough time.
At last, please mourn over my abortive effort...

Now, I know it!
The reason why my code didn't work is because Dek-d's page isn't well-designed. It doesn't follow XHTML format, so it won't work will jQuery.
And I won't be able to fix this big pitfall.
(Sorry for using many technical words.)
