I've known the boy in years. We grew together and shared our best interests with. We were together since childhood. Once he insisted me to play with him when we were ten. I can just remember the impending pain that caused me to lose my consciousness then. So I was rushed to the hospital for a medical treatment.

We went to different schools so as we won't be seeing each other. Yet ironic as it was, there was never a day that we couldn't meet each other still because he continuously played the game that I hated. Moreover, he had his daily practice in my school's ball field. I was hired by a certain company which was organizing a sports festival to be the medical head to do emergency care for the injured athletes. This time around, I was nursing him because he was also hit by the soccer ball over his eyes. I had no choice but to speak with him as I treated him and rushed him to the hospital. To my surprise, the feeling of being concerned back to him exuded my emotions. I never left him behind until the treatment was over. Surprisingly the next day, he was on my doorstep with bouquet of flowers, inviting me over for a dinner. During dinner, we had much fun drinking wine while watching the latest season for the Premiere League.

Isn't it interesting how our love affair had greatly been influenced by soccer that even during our first date, I learned to like the game as we cheered for his favorite team in the ? Until the present, we burn midnight candles together watching the latest season of his favorite football competition. This is seemingly our bonding moment. This is our confession for a love rose just because of soccer.
