Destiny 2: Plunder Season Map Pieces to Obtain

เขียนโดย oditditam

In Destiny 2's Loot Season, the Loot Season introduces a new set of events for you to complete, with new seasonal weapons and armor available for acquisition. For players to actually collect loot in Destiny 2, they need Map Shards, a currency introduced in Season 18. So this guide will show players how to get map pieces in Destiny 2. As well as players can buy enough Destiny 2 Silver in the game in order to get the pieces.

How to Get Map Pieces

Map Shards are a new resource added as part of Destiny 2 Season 18 (Loot Season) and can be obtained from the new Ketchcrash event - a 6 player PvE challenge that requires players to bomb an enemy Ketch before boarding it, completing numerous objectives and finally defeating the captain. Ketchcrash is the only Destiny 2 campaign you can play to earn map pieces, awarding you 10 map pieces each for each run. It appears that completing Ketchcrash on Master difficulty will provide a random number of additional map pieces.

Destiny 2 Map Fragments: Where to Find Them

By completing the Ketchcrash campaign, you can obtain map pieces from the looting season. Unlocked after you help the Drifter retrieve his loot and talk to the spider in the Eliksni district of the last city, accessible via HELM all you have to do is complete the six player campaign, again via HELM, and defeat the last boss to get the pieces. A normal Ketchcrash seems to drop about ten map pieces.

Sadly, there is no other way to obtain this currency in Season of Plunder. Upgrading your pirate crew through the star map provides a bonus for using treasure maps you make using map fragments and treasure coordinates, but you are still limited to the amount you can farm through Ketchcrash.

The upgrades you choose in your star map depend on your goals, especially early in the season. Unlocking the ability to summon crew members to help Ketchcrash is a fun way to play early on when you don't have much of a chance.

You can also prioritize focusing on armor and weapons or earning additional loot during the campaign. In the first few weeks of the season, there aren't many options, but by the third or fourth week and beyond, the time you spend on star chart upgrades lies more in optimizing campaign grinds or gear acquisition grinds.

Whatever path you choose for Pirate Crew, know that Ketchcrash will always be there, with its 10 map pieces waiting to be completed. For more on Destiny 2, check out the news feed at Mmorpgm.com.
